Consumer Shield Scam Alerts does not create accounts. The two forms that ask for personal details are the daily-note signup and the get-help form.

The daily note stores the email address you submit, the time, and a source label. Without a mailing-service key, that record stays in a local file on the server and in the server log. When Resend is configured, the same address is also sent to a Resend audience. The form says whether the mailing service accepted it.

The get-help form stores your name, email, optional phone, state, situation, and the fact that you checked the contact box. If LEAD_WEBHOOK_URL is set, that information is posted there. If RESEND_API_KEY is set, it is also emailed to help@consumershielddaily.com unless LEAD_TO_EMAIL says otherwise. If neither is configured, the request is only saved and logged, and the page says nobody was notified.

Affiliate links, when an offer is enabled, go to the partner site. That site has its own privacy policy. Offers are described on the advertising disclosure.

Questions about a stored address can go to help@consumershielddaily.com. This page is not a privacy statute and not legal advice.
