Some pages may show a Protect yourself box with links to identity protection, credit monitoring, or debt-help offers. If you use one of those links, we may earn a commission. The box says so, and each link uses rel="sponsored nofollow".

An offer stays hidden while its enabled flag is false in lib/offers.ts. The URLs there are placeholders until a real partner link replaces #. Turning a flag on before that replacement publishes the placeholder URL.

Alert summaries are written from public official sources and are not paid placements. A commission link is not an endorsement, and it is not a statement that the partner will recover money. Paying a company that promises to get scam losses back is itself a common scam.
